Hired Attorney 1994-1995Mr. Paulombaro handled 2 cases back in 1994. One was a misdemeanor and the other was an appeal. I would like to see if he can advise me on how to handle filing a claim on a doctor who realized i was allergic to an inhaler but he released me while deathly ill, instead of trying to fix the mistake. Blackballed me. I eventually got injured so got a referral to a clinic. The doctors have been giving me ultimatums of colonoscopy or no breathing medicine, and refused to help me get off of the inhaler. Allergic to it, but could not breathe without it. I sweat 24/7 with o2 readings low as 88. Anesthesia will kill me. Verified by new Pulmonologist. But the student doctor got mad and labeled me as a hypochondriac. From birth to now, serious breathing problems. She killed me. Doctors have been treating me with ultimatums since 04/18. I've been needing a colonoscopy since they refused to get control of my breathing. I'm scared. I took Ranitidine for about 8 or more years. I can't eat food. Only protein shakes. If it's cancer from Ranitidine, 2.5 years is too long. I feel like I'm a walking dead man. Colon area is tend to the touch. Constant. When I told the Administrator, who got in my face scolding me for not having an appointment, i was stopping the long term inhaler, he said he will not give me any breathing medicine unless i continue an inhaler I'm allergic to. I told the Administrator a cancer doctor said I'm in a constant allergic reaction. So we have 3 doctors who pretty much cut my life short. No matter what I say is bothering me, i get offered a colonoscopy...death sentence. I have records from original doctor showing i kept telling him allergies and he kept refusing to check what i said. I typed out pretty much every detail. Waiting on more records to get exact dates and names. Since 2005, I've lived over a hundred deaths, but too stubborn to die. Anaphylactic shock for months at a time. Verified by an allergy shot that wore off in 45 minutes. A wonderful 45 minutes of being able to talk and breathe and stopped sweating. Four years ago was the last time i was dry of sweat. Oh, i went 2 years without a voice. Even a referral would help greatly.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
