Hired Law firm 2024-2025Do not waste your time or money! I don't know where his head was at but not on my case. He missed filing dates, and acted like it was me. He filed motions without even speaking to me first. I had to constantly refresh his memory on everything. He flat out lied about what he was going to be able to do and then never even tried once he had the retainer. Completely unprofessional! My dog could have represented me better than Brian.

Hired Law firm 2024-2025If you are a woman, and a little short on cash, Mr. Benbow just might offer his services in exchange for certain favors - sounds like he enjoys HJs. Just make sure there are no cameras in whatever room you choose at the courthouse. If you are a man that's short on cash, you might be out of luck, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe you can bribe him using his D pics.

Hired Law firm 2023Took money from client. Refused to complete job. Threatend to sue client if client left a poor review

Hired Law firm 2022-2023I respect this man greatly! He knows the law and the system. He got me out of a bind. He's very friendly and so is his staff. I would retain him again if needed.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
