Overview
Dilan Lyda was born and raised in Oklahoma, and he graduated from Hinton High School in 2014. He received a bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2018. Dilan earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2021. After graduating law school, Dilan passed the recently established Uniform Bar Exam. Currently, Dilan is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is licensed in the Western Federal District Court of Oklahoma.
While attending school, Dilan served for six years as an ammunition specialist in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Prior to joining Whitten Burrage, Dilan worked in law firms practicing fields such as personal injury, family law, and insurance defense. Dilan also worked as a compliance and enforcement attorney in the Pharmacy Benefits Management division of the Oklahoma Insurance Department.
Outside the office, Dilan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kayla, as well as their friends and family, and serving at their church. His hobbies include playing guitar, traveling, and attending sporting events.
