Overview
Madelynn is from the small town of Soper in Southeastern Oklahoma. She received her B.B.A. in 2021 from the University of Central Oklahoma and graduated as the Class Marshall, the graduating individual with the highest G.P.A. in the College of Business. At UCO, Madelynn also was a member of the President’s Leadership Council, the College of Business 2B Leaders Program, and received the outstanding Freshman, Junior, and Senior Leader award.
Graduating a semester early, Madelynn received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2023. A member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Madelynn is passionate about working with tribal nations as an advocate for tribal sovereignty. Madelynn received both a Business and Transactional Law Certificate and an American Indian Law Certificate from OU Law. She was also a member, as well as a Research Editor of the American Indian Law Review. Her article, which discusses tribal nations’ possible use of benefit corporations as a business structure, is selected for publication in the American Indian Law Review in 2024.
