Amanda Loshbaugh - Bend, OR

Amanda brings a diverse legal background and a global perspective to her work at Gilroy Napoli Short. She began her career as a Deputy District Attorney in Washington County, where she developed strong courtroom skills while prosecuting a wide range of person and property crimes. This early trial experience laid the foundation for her strategic and detail-oriented approach to criminal defense.

Following her time in Oregon, Amanda expanded her practice internationally by relocating to the U.S. Virgin Islands. There, she joined the Virgin Islands Bar Association and served as General Counsel for an investment firm with operations in both the Caribbean and Ireland. She later transitioned into investor relations for a Switzerland-based biotechnology company, gaining valuable experience in corporate governance, compliance, and global business operations.

This broad professional background enhances Amanda’s ability to analyze complex cases, communicate effectively with clients, and pursue favorable resolutions. With a strong interest in criminal law, she is dedicated to guiding individuals through the legal process with clarity, professionalism, and unwavering advocacy.

Amanda earned her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Southern Oregon University. She has also contributed her time to community service through volunteer work with the Victim’s Assistance Program in Jackson County and the Family Law Assistance Program in Washington County.

Outside the office, Amanda enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter and spending time outdoors. She has a particular passion for hiking, camping, and exploring destinations throughout the Caribbean and Central America.
