Attorney Information

Overview

A native of California, Mr. Ford worked as a print journalist following his graduation from Stanford University with a degree in Economics. A resident of the Los Angeles area for more than two decades, Mr. Ford received his law degree from Southwestern Law School in 2005 and set up his practice that year in central Los Angeles. He moved the practice to Phoenix, Arizona in 2012.

While at Southwestern Law School, Mr. Ford was named Editor-in-Chief of the Southwestern Journal of International Law and was published in that Journal. He also achieved the unusual feat of having two other papers he wrote as a law student published in law journals at other law schools, in portions of those journal normally reserved for professors or practitioners. A list of Mr. Ford’s significant publications may be seen here.

Also during law school, Mr. Ford used his Spanish language skills to participate in work-study program with the Supreme Court of Argentina. In that program he drafted a law school paper in Spanish advocating free speech based on international legal principles. The paper received the highest grade in the class and was considered for publication in Argentina’s most prestigious law review, La Ley.

Today Mr. Ford maintains his practice in central Phoenix, convenient to the entire Valley of the Sun. As a lawyer, Mr. Ford has practiced civil law at the trial and appellate level. Though Mr. Ford’s writing abilities make him especially well suited to appellate cases.

Mr. Ford is fluent in Spanish and is experienced in providing legal assistance to Spanish speakers with limited or no English skills.
