With over 40 years’ experience in Family Law practice, Richard seeks to understand the needs of his clients, and “best interests” of the children. Richard uses his vast experience to defuse the emotionally-charged nature of divorce and develop amicable settlements for his clients. As a seasoned litigator (over 500 career Oregon cases) , Richard can also utilize his skills at trial to pursue his client’s objectives. Richard is licensed in State of Oregon, the past President of the Oregon State Bar Family Law Section, an honored member of Super Lawyer (2010-present) and Who’s Who in Law (2011-present), and has held numerous positions within the Oregon Academy of Family Law Practitioners. Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Illinois University and a Law Degree from Lewis & Clark.

- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
