Overview
Andrew Altschul practiced labor and employment law at two of the country's largest law firms for almost a decade before opening his own employment law boutique in 2004. Andrew has substantial experience representing both employers and employees in all aspects of employment disputes. He provides day-to-day counseling on employment issues, collective bargaining representation, and serves as a mediator on labor and employment matters. Andrew also has a national ERISA benefit litigation practice and regularly litigates ERISA actions throughout the country. Andrew is recognized in The Best Lawyers of America, Oregon Super Lawyers and Rising Stars, and selected as a leader in his field for Oregon by Chambers USA. He served as the Chair of the Oregon State Bar Board of Bar Examiners, which is responsible for designing and grading the Oregon Bar Examination and has received Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Andrew is also a frequent speaker at national and local employment law forums. Andrew is a member of the Oregon, Washington and California bars. He received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and his bachelor's degree from Grinnell College.
