Overview
Leah Johnson brings decades of hands-on legal experience to every case she handles, with a strong commitment to guiding clients through complex legal and insurance systems. She believes that informed clients make stronger decisions, and she works closely with each person to pursue results that protect their rights and financial future.
Throughout her career, Leah has built an extensive litigation record that includes courtroom trials, appellate work, mediations, arbitrations, and hundreds of depositions. Her practice centers on personal injury matters such as car, motorcycle, and bicycle accidents, pedestrian injuries, and cases involving unsafe property or road conditions. Known for her strategic approach to insurance negotiations, Leah works diligently to challenge low settlement offers and secure fair compensation for her clients.
In addition to her personal injury practice, Leah has a strong background in criminal defense. As a former Deputy District Attorney in Marion County, she gained valuable insight into how prosecutors build cases. She later used that knowledge in private practice to defend individuals facing charges such as DUII, theft, and assault. Her commitment to justice also extends to volunteer work, including assisting survivors of domestic violence with protective orders and serving as a victim advocacy volunteer.
Leah began her legal career in 1997 and joined the firm as a senior associate in 2017 after years as a partner at Ravelo, Johnson, & Nguyen and service as a county prosecutor. This combination of public service and private practice allows her to approach cases from multiple perspectives.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her law degree from Willamette University College of Law. Outside the office, Leah is actively involved in her community through the Wilson Youth Football program. She enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and their ever-growing group of pets.
