Overview

Ronald J. Reybitz is an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate, Land Use & Development group and serves in its Corporate, Business & Banking Group. In his practice, he represents individual and corporate clients in zoning and land development matters, including related submissions, hearings, presentations and appeals. Additionally, he is adept at negotiating all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing agreements of sale, leases, financing documents and other related documents. He began his career at FLB.

Prior to his return to FLB, for 20 years Mr. Reybitz served in numerous roles as in-house counsel at PPL Corporation, where he gained significant experience in various aspects of the energy/utility industry, including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate issues/disputes and project development of electric transmission, distribution and generation facilities. From 2014 through 2021, he was Chief Counsel for PPL Electric Utilities, where he was responsible for leading the in-house team that supported PPL Electric Utilities. In that role his team’s practice areas of responsibility included federal and state regulatory, litigation/claims, labor and employment, contracts, real estate and environmental/permitting.

During his tenure he was also successful in leading the legal team responsible for obtaining all regulatory and other legal approvals required for the acquisition of Rhode Island Energy by PPL Corporation. He was also the lead attorney on the Susquehanna-Roseland Project, a joint project with PSE&G for a 150-mile transmission line from Berwick, Pennsylvania to Roseland, New Jersey. In that role he was responsible for coordinating all legal matters related to the project, including regulatory, real estate, NEPA/environmental and contracts.
