Attorney Information
Overview
Evan is an aggressive, results oriented attorney who has litigated a litany of high profile and high value cases over the course of his career. He has handled a wide variety of personal injury matters including construction accidents, injuries from defective products, medical malpractice, and premises liability claims. While the majority of his practice is dedicated to Pennsylvania and New Jersey, he has worked with matters referred to him by attorneys throughout the country on difficult, time intensive cases that other firms have turned down and achieved successful results for his clients.
In his time practicing law, Evan has represented clients in several high profile, catastrophic matters that have garnered media attention. He represented a plaintiff in the In re: Market Street Building Collapse matter, which settled for a collective $227 million after a five month liability trial in what is believed to be the largest personal injury settlement in Pennsylvania history. Recently, along with firm co-founder Eric Zajac, he helped achieve a $2.26 million medical malpractice verdict against an incarcerated physician for the over prescription of opiate medication. Evan also recently represented a victim of childhood sexual abuse at the hands of doctor in the early 1960’s under the New York Child Victim’s Act. The case resolved at a mediation in Boston, MA for $2.25 million and represents what is believed to be the largest individual recovery in a case brought under the Act.
Evan continues to represent clients and families who are the victims of negligence throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The law firm’s cases have been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 6ABC, and NBC News. A testament to his reputation amongst his peers, he receives almost all of his cases through referrals from other attorneys. Some of his largest recoveries have been achieved on cases other firms turned down. The firm prides itself in its ability to thoroughly evaluate every case for every angle of recovery, leaving no stone unturned for an injured client or a grieving family.
“Evan is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree at Boston College. Evan is a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area, residing in Bryn Mawr with his wife, Calli, and two sons William and Henry. When not practicing law, he enjoys cooking, golfing, and taking trips with his family.”
