Overview
Howard Burk received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he participated in Moot Court and graduated in 1984. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College. While in law school, Mr. Burk served as a law clerk to The Honorable Thomas J. Eshelman, Court of Common Pleas of Berks County. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Burk handles a wide variety of cases, including matters involving occupational diseases and workplace deaths through the Pennsylvania Supreme Court level. Mr. Burk has taught legal education classes on workers’ compensation topics for the Insurance Society of Philadelphia.
Mr. Burk concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation defense litigation. Prior to joining Berman Voss, Mr. Burk was a principal at a large regional defense firm.
Mr. Burk is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Philadelphia’s Workers’ Compensation Association.
