Stephanie A. Gonzalez F. has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law more than 25 years ago. Ms. Gonzalez is a litigator who has tried difficult cases in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware Counties, but is also a negotiator who is skilled at bringing about peaceful agreements for separating families. Throughout her career, Ms. Gonzalez has handled all types of family law cases, including child custody, paternity, support, divorce, pre and post-nuptial agreements, kinship adoptions, grandparents rights, dependency and domestic violence. Ms. Gonzalez particularly enjoys working on cases with an international component and over her career has assisted clients from or residing in more than 45 different countries around the globe. This experience has spanned all types of cases from recovering a dowry paid in a traditional Indian marriage, protecting a teen bride from Mali, setting the support obligations of a businessman working in the Middle East, and litigating federal child abduction cases under the Hague Treaty. She has extensive experience in family law work related to immigration matters and assisting immigrant teens from Central America, the Caribbean, South America and Asia. She has successful appellate experience and has served as an expert witness.
