Overview

Mr. Taylor is a principal at Kaplin Stewart and a member of the Real Estate Transactions department in the Blue Bell, Pennsylvania office. Mr. Taylor represents national, regional and local property owners, developers, landlords and tenants in a variety of commercial and residential real estate matters. Mr. Taylor's experience focuses on transactions involving a variety of real estate assets including retail shopping centers and malls, office buildings, warehouses and other commercial and residential properties. Mr. Taylor has a specialty in retail, industrial and office commercial leasing matters, ranging from big box anchor to small shop office transactions. Mr. Taylor routinely serves his clients as an advisor on key deal points, and through the drafting, review and negotiation of core transactional documents including purchase and sale contracts, leases, financing documents, partnership and other entity formation agreements.

Mr. Taylor was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. After relinquishing his dream of becoming a professional athlete - or, more accurately, it relinquishing him - he attended Penn State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. During college, he served as President of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity, and currently is heavily involved in its alumni association. Upon graduation, Adam attended New York Law School, obtaining his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, while serving as Articles Editor on the New York Law School Law Review. Prior to joining Kaplin Stewart in 2004, Mr. Taylor practiced law with Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Adam resides with his wife, Laurie, a Speech Pathologist who works with children with special needs, and his three children, Ethan, Jordan and Graysen. At the end of the day, Adam feels grateful to be able to do work that he loves while leaving time to spend with family and friends. Adam strives to live life to its fullest.
