Overview
Drew P. D'Angelo has been a trial attorney for more than 30 years, representing plaintiffs and defendants in various civil matters including civil rights litigation. His practice now focuses on a variety of complex civil litigation matters including representation of plaintiffs in connection with catastrophic personal injury, negligence, automobile accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, liquor liability, product liability, medical malpractice and construction-related accidents. Drew also handles workers' compensation matters.
Prior to his current position at Stampone Law, Drew was a City Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia from 1974 to 1981. During that time he represented the Police Department and other City agencies in high profile matters. Drew also served as a civil rights teacher to the Philadlephia Police Academy. He taught the officers in training how not to violate the Civil Rights of those being arrested and others.
Drew is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania; the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia Drew currently resides in Erdenheim, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children. He married a soloist from the Pennsylvania Ballet and has many artistic and cultural ties to the City of Philadelphia. He is actively trying to produce a musical comedy called "The 25th Century Comic", which was written by his Father, Lenny Payton, a well-known jazz musician and television personality from Philadelphia. Drew is active in coaching sports, such as CYO basketball and soccer.
