Overview

Katherine graduated cum laude from Cedar Crest College with a Bachelor of Science in 1988. In 1991, she obtained her law degree from the Dickinson School of Law. Katherine began her law career in insurance defense litigation with the Philadelphia law firm, Swartz, Campbell & Detweiler. She continued her litigation practice in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, premises liability, automobile liability and appellate practice with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and then Nationwide Insurance Company. Katherine joined Shelly Law Offices to fight for the rights of accident victims applying the knowledge and experience she gleaned while working for the big insurance companies. She now works to ensure that her clients receive the justice and the fair compensation to which they are entitled. Since 2014, Katherine has also been advocating for those seriously injured as a result of medical malpractice. She is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and admitted to practice in the United States Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Katherine maintains professional memberships in the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the Bucks County Bar Association.
