Maureen Cassidy - Eagleville, PA

Maureen Cassidy is an associate at Chartwell's Valley Forge Office. She obtained her J.D. at Widener University School of Law in 2009 and her B.A. in Telecommunications at Pennsylvania State University in 2006. While attending Widener, Ms. Cassidy, was a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court and served on the Executive Board of Phi Alpha Delta. She also earned Pro Bono distinction while graduating a semester early. Ms. Cassidy participated in an internship with the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office in the summer of 2009. Following law school, Ms. Cassidy clerked for the Honorable Ann Osborne in the Court of Common Pleas in Delaware County.

Prior to joining Chartwell, Ms. Cassidy was an Associate at Carpenter, McCadden & Lane, LLP, representing different types of employers in all aspects of workers' compensation law. Ms. Cassidy has worked with both insurance carriers and employers to obtain successful decisions and favorable settlements. She is also a member of The Judge Alexander F. Barbieri Workers' Compensation American Inn of Court. Ms. Cassidy is committed to the defense of insured and self-insured entities in Pennsylvania workers' compensation matters.
