Overview

A Firm Offering The Representation You Need And The Support You Deserve

Going through any family law issue is difficult. You need an attorney offering more than just legal knowledge and experience. You need someone who will be your sounding board. You need someone who will pump you up when you’re feeling low and be the voice of reason when you feel like you can’t think clearly. You need someone who can offer adaptive representation that matches your unique personality and family dynamics.

This is exactly what you can expect when you contact Ruppert Law Firm LLC. Our practice is dedicated to family law and we are fully committed to the well-being of our clients. Our experienced attorneys and dedicated staff provide the support you’ve been looking for in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Compassionate Representation Informed By Personal Experience

Divorce is so common now that most adults either grew up with divorced parents or knew plenty of others who did. Our attorneys have direct experience beyond that. Firm founder Sean Ruppert has gone through his own divorce and remarriage. He has two of his own children, one of whom was adopted, and his wife also brought two children from a previous marriage.

We are not shy about sharing our personal stories because we know that everyone takes their own journey to find the happiness they are seeking. Families can be messy, and that’s one reason why family law is such an important and rewarding calling.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
