Overview
For the past 26 years, Mr. Davis has practiced criminal law in courtrooms throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Davis graduated from The William Penn Charter School in 1991. He then attended Villanova University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995. He attended Widener University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate degree in 1998. Mr. Davis is licensed to practice law in state courts throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as federal court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Delaware County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Association and the Justinian Society of Delaware County.
Mr. Davis served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Delaware County District Attorney's Office for 8 years, where he personally prosecuted over 6000 criminal cases including Homicides, Aggravated Assaults, Robberies, Burglaries and Driving Under the Influence matters.
While an Assistant D.A., Mr. Davis was able to hone his trial and advocacy skills, handling cases from arrest through jury trial and sentencing. He personally tried over 50 cases before juries, and was appointed as a trial team leader in 2006.
In 2008, Mr. Davis left the D.A.'s Office to become a Deputy Attorney General with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. For 3 years he personally led investigations before the Statewide Investigating Grand Jury involving complex white collar criminal cases and public corruption cases. He expanded his trial experience, by personally handling jury trials in Philadelphia, Montgomery and Chester Counties.
In June 2011, Mr. Davis left the PA Attorney General's Office to open his own law firm. Mr. Davis has established himself as a highly respected criminal defense attorney, handling many high profile cases, including Law Enforcement Officials charged with crimes. Among other favorable results, he has earned his clients complete acquittals (NOT GUILTY verdicts) on 1st Degree Murder, Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault and Rape cases.
Mr. Davis has represented Attorneys, Doctors, Police Officers, School Administrators, and College students who are accused of various crimes. He has earned the respect of his colleagues and regularly receives referrals from Law Enforcement Officials and other Attorneys. Mr. Davis is a seasoned, aggressive and experienced trial attorney who is always striving to achieve the best result for his clients.
