Hired Law firm 2024-2025Here's my review and Experience! Please read! When David Chermol was supposed to represent me he didn't , which I was lead to believe! They had some hack, Josh B Greene, EDPNA, (who's not even an attorney, that the Judge recognized "as an attorney" in her unfaviorable decision) who didn't even cross examine the Vocational expert and left out pertinent information which I tried to tell him about, and when I tried to bring up this said information he told me " You're gonna F&*K this Up"! Long story short I reached out to David Chermol to inform him of this he came across as very abrasive and when i said I wasn't properly represented and I was gonna report him, he then decides to do a brief to the appeals council, and all he did was patronize me, and talked down through very abrasive emails, he was paid WHAT HE CALLED A MEASLY $7500 for the Federal case, by the Federal court, which he won, but the remand for the ALJ (JOSH GREENE) dropped the ball on the remand. David Chermol is a very abrasive and unprofessional to say the very least and mishandled my entire case, I would NOT recommend his firm for anyone. Talk with a firm that you can actually talk with the Lawyer, not some EDPNA. He did however submit a brief to the Appeals Council after I brought this up and he said after this "IM DONE" do NOT contact us for any reason, no WITHDRAWL LETTER SENT TO THE SSA, NO ANSWER, EXCEPT COCKY, AND SARCASTIC COMMENTS! I HAVE NEVER FELT SO DEMEENED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Shame on Chermol & Associates! Here's the LAW! The representative's duty to remain professional The SSA requires all representatives—both attorneys and qualified non-attorneys—to adhere to a strict code of professional conduct and standards of responsibility. These rules are designed to ensure fair and orderly administrative proceedings and to protect claimants. A representative's affirmative duties include: Providing competent representation: They must be knowledgeable about the law, be familiar with the case's evidence, and act with reasonable diligence and promptness. Timely communication: They must maintain prompt and timely communication with their client, keeping them informed of all matters concerning their case. Assisting with evidence: They must act with reasonable promptness to help obtain and submit evidence needed for the claim. A representative's prohibited actions include: Threatening, coercing, or misleading a claimant or beneficiary. Charging or collecting a fee without the SSA's written approval. Unreasonably delaying the processing of a claim. Engaging in actions that disrupt or obstruct the administrative process. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS FIRM! IT'S BEYOND RIDICULOUS!

Hired Law firm 2024-2025I cannot express enough gratitude to Diana Cardona at the law office of Chermol and Fishman for her incredible support and dedication throughout my Social Security benefits case. From the very beginning, Diana was compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me navigate this complex and often overwhelming process. She kept me informed every step of the way, answered all my questions with patience, and provided reassurance when I needed it most. Thanks to her hard work and expertise, I was ultimately approved for benefits—something I truly couldn't have accomplished on my own. Diana's professionalism and care made a world of difference, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of help with their Social Security claim. She is truly an asset to the Chermol and Fishman team!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
