Christopher M. Fox counsels and represents Pennsylvania’s injured workers in all phases of litigation. Since graduating from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2002, Mr. Fox has concentrated his practice on workers’ compensation. For the first decade of his career, he represented employers and insurance carriers. This background provides him with a unique perspective and an advantage in analyzing issues and formulating a winning strategy for his clients. Mr. Fox has lectured on Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law before diverse audiences, including law students, paralegals, lawyers, unions, and business professionals.
Mr. Fox is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as authorized by the Supreme Court of Philadelphia. He is an active member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, as is currently serving as one of the Section’s 2021 Co-Chairs.
In 2018, he was appointed to a three-year term as a hearing committee member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. In 2021, the Disciplinary Board re-appointed him, to a second three year term, running through 2024. In this role, he and other panel members receive evidence involving lawyer misconduct or ethics violations, apply the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Conduct, and make recommendations to the Disciplinary Board.
Mr. Fox received his undergraduate degree in Labor Studies and Industrial Relations from Pennsylvania State University in 1999. During his freshman year at Penn State, he was a walk-on member of the varsity football team as a quarterback and strong safety. He continued his studies at Widener University Delaware Law School in 1999-2000, before transferring to and receiving his law degree in 2002 from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
In 2020, Mr. Fox launched The Wright Legacy, a Pennsylvania non-profit, serving to excite, inspire and energize underrepresented youth, who are interested in pursuing a career in law. This inaugural iteration of this program will be offered in two Delaware County high schools in the fall of 2021.
He resides in the Philadelphia suburbs, with his wife and children and devotes much of his spare time to volunteering as a youth football, basketball, and baseball coach. He is a huge Phillies fan and has seen the Phillies play in 16 different ballparks, and counting.
