Overview
Harmon S. Spolan is of counsel to the firm. He served as president of Jefferson Bank for 22 years, until April 1999, when he joined Cozen O'Connor as chair of the Financial Services Practice Group and as co-marketing partner. He was named chair of the Cozen O’Connor Foundation effective January 2007, where he oversees the firm’s charitable giving program.
By appointment of the mayor of the city of Philadelphia, Harmon was a member of the Investment Committee of the Economic Conversion Fund for the Philadelphia Naval Base. He serves as a member of the Board of Coleman Cable, Inc., and is also a member of the Philadelphia and American Bar associations.
Harmon earned his Bachelor of Arts at Temple University in 1957 and his law degree at the Temple University School of Law in 1959. He also pursued graduate studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and at Brasenose College, Oxford University, England.
