Overview

Philip M. Brandt is a founding partner of the firm practicing in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties and is currently of counsel to the firm. He jointly founded the firm in 1982 with his partner, Victor Lipsky. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated from the Wharton School of Business with a BS degree in Economics in 1961. Mr. Brandt is a 1964 cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and is admitted to practice in the State of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Brandt concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, corporate and transactional law. He was counsel to the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation for over fifty years and has written and lectured in the field of industrial and commercial development authority law. His real estate practice also includes the representation of clients in regard to their purchase and sale of residential, commercial and industrial properties including shopping centers, office buildings and various types of industrial and warehouse facilities. He also represents both landlords and tenants with negotiating and drafting Lease Agreements for all kinds and types of real estate. Mr. Brandt's corporate practice includes advising clients concerning the formation of either corporations, partnerships or limited liability companies and negotiating all of the related documentation in connection therewith.

Mr. Brandt is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is a married father of two adult sons and three grandchildren.
