Mr. Will is an amazing Attorney and helped me greatly in my case. He is honest and very personable with his clients and he wont BS you about your chances. In my case the state wanted to put me in jail for 90 days and suspend my license for a year over a ticket that was 17 years old and with his wisdom and knowledge of the system he he got it dropped to a $200 fine no jailtime and no suspension. He also checked on me to make sure I was okay and told me to keep him updated on how things are going for me in the future. He is truly a great person.

Dear Thomas A. Will & Associates, I would like to take this time to express my gratitude to you. I thank you for making the decision to take my case and cases for over the course of 11 years. I received your message that you would, indeed, take my case I immediately felt relieved, as you are known as one of the top lawyers in this field of law. From day one, our very first face to face meeting, I knew that we had a chance at winning this thing, and fortunately for myself, this proved to be true. I realize that this was not the easiest case to win, and that you were required to spend long hours researching and putting your presentation together. You treated me just as well, if not better, than your more prestigious clients. In fact, I was not prepared for the kindness and consideration I received from you and your good staff. It was not all “business” with you, it was something more personal. This made me feel secure in you handling our case. Thanks to your expertise and prowess, my case not only saw the light of day, but was won. Your dedication, your attention to detail and diligence made this all possible. You and your staff believed in me and my situation, remained steadfast through it all, even when it did not look promising you stuck by my side. In the end, it all worked out very well. Thank you for not only being my lawyer, but also my friend through this. I appreciate the attention to my wellbeing, as does my family. All of us wish to extend to you, our utmost friendship, and hope that you consider yourself an extended member of our family, and if there is anything we can do for you, simply ask. Sincerely, Dominic J, Fricchione & Alisa N. Lignoski

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
