Attorney Information

Overview

Bob Raver is a founding member of Raver Rawlings Law Group PLLC. Attorney Raver concentrates on family law, serving clients in Allegheny County and Western Pennsylvania. He provides committed and thoughtful representation while aggressively advocating for the needs of his clients, when necessary.

Attorney Raver has several years of legal experience. He handles all family law matters, including divorce, equitable distribution (often involving complex compensation or business owners), child custody, child support, paternity, and protection from abuse. In addition to being a talented litigator, he is experienced with alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and collaborative law, designed for clients who prefer a less adversarial approach to divorce and want to maintain some control over the outcome.

Along with his family law practice, Attorney Raver writes and speaks on family law topics at legal conferences and seminars. He has taught at and written for the Community College of Allegheny County’s continuing education series for accountants and lawyers, educating other professionals on the tax aspects of separation and divorce. Bob has also lectured for the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association on numerous occasions.

As an active member of his legal community, Attorney Raver belongs to the Family Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is also a Duquesne Law Alumni Association member and the Matrimonial American Inns of Court member.

Attorney Raver earned his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. He holds licenses to practice law before all Pennsylvania state courts, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
