Thomas Summers is a 2012 graduate of Case Western Reserve University and received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2015. Prior to joining Summers, McDonnell, Hudock, Guthrie and Rauch, P.C., Mr. Summers practiced at a large commercial litigation firm in Pittsburgh. He specialized in civil litigation with a focus on Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Litigation, Healthcare and Nursing Home Litigation.

In 2015, Mr. Summers was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He specializes in all aspects of tort and casualty defense litigation including transportation defense, premises liability and products liability. Mr. Summers has tried cases throughout Western Pennsylvania and is an active member of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
