Overview
Jonathan Long is a Partner and member of the Firm's municipal, real estate, and litigation practice groups. His practice focuses on zoning, land use, and real estate matters, as well as commercial litigation, appellate practice, and criminal defense.
Jonathan started his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bucks County District Attorney's Office. While at the District Attorney's Office Jonathan tried many jury and bench trials, specializing in homicide by vehicle, DUI, and animal cruelty cases. Beyond his specialties Jonathan handled cases ranging from summary traffic citations to felony charges.
Before joining our firm, Jonathan spent a number of years at another local law firm building a practice centered on representation of government agencies, municipal law, civil litigation and criminal defense. Jonathan represents clients ranging from municipal and county governments to small businesses and individuals.
Jonathan has been recognized by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and one of the Top Lawyers of the Main Line and in Chester County. Outside of the practice of law Jonathan is deeply involved in life in Chester County as a member of various boards and organizations. Jonathan serves as a member of the executive board of the West Chester Business Improvement District and the Chester County Bar Association board of directors, serving as co-chair of the Bar Association's Municipal & Land Use law section.
