Overview
Sasha Coffiner is a Senior Associate with the Firm. She has been practicing law for nearly 20 years and is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania (2015) and New York (2004). Ms. Coffiner’s practice includes products liability, mass tort, pharmaceutical, medical malpractice, medical device, commercial, civil rights and personal injury litigation. Prior to joining the Rieders Travis Firm, Ms. Coffiner practiced in the area of intellectual property litigation for several firms in New York. She takes special interest in pharmaceutical and medical litigation based on her unique background in molecular biology as she holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Haverford College and Columbia University, respectively. She holds a J.D. Cum Laude, Order of the Coif, from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, she was a Supervising Editor for the Cardozo Law Review.
Ms. Coffiner was drawn to legal practice as a means of combining her passion for science and writing in a way to help fight injustices brought on by medical device and pharmaceutical companies. Her practice includes all areas of trial preparation, and she takes particular interest in deposition practice, negotiation and legal writing.
Ms. Coffiner practices in the firm’s Philadelphia area practice. She resides in suburban Philadelphia with her husband, Brad, and their twin boys. She prides herself on her expertise in the culinary arts, with a passion for cooking and baking, along a love of travel. She serves on the Board of her Synagogue’s Sisterhood, and is extremely active in the HSA for her children’s’ school.
