Attorney Information
Overview
Christian focuses his practice in the business transactional, commercial real estate and municipal arenas, which Christian believe are all intertwined providing a broad skill-set to base comprehensive representation. By tailoring his practice to focus on complementary areas of the law, Christian provides competent and confident representation in a wide variety of issues that could arise in any transactional deal. Christian’s practice is also built on the fundamentals of transparency, responsiveness, and integrity – which he provides to every client regardless of matter or size.
Christian’s business transactional practice specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate finance, and general corporate law matters. Christian assists clients through all phases of the M&A process, from planning and structuring, to negotiating and drafting, and through closing and post-closing matters. Christian prides his practice on the ability to offer all-encompassing services for the main street through mid-market business clients. Within the M&A spectrum, Christian also has extensive knowledge and experience with PA Liquor Law transactions, helping clients navigate the sale or purchase of an alcohol related (PLCB licensed) businesses, including restaurants, breweries, and distributors.
Christian’s commercial real estate practice includes negotiating and drafting purchase agreements, land use representation, raising capital for commercial developers and project investment, construction loan review and negotiation, and settlement/title services as a PA licensed title agent. Christian routinely represents developers of residential and commercial development, including new construction and renovations/retro-fits, from initial land acquisition through financing (via traditional lenders and private equity), entitlements, and closing.
Christian’s other main practice area is municipal and local government work. Christian represents both municipalities as well as individuals seeking relief or approvals before municipalities. This includes townships in their general governance as well as zoning hearing boards and planning commissions related to specific zoning and land development matters.
Christian grew up in York County, attending Dallastown High School and Dickinson College for undergraduate studies. After attending law school in Ohio, Christian returned home to go into practice with his father and uncle. Christian likes to spend his free time with his family, including wife Kasey, son Brady, daughter Emma and three dogs, often going for walks on his family’s farm. Christian’s other hobbies include running, golfing, pickleball, and anything active. Christian remains active with his college alumni organization as well as various other York-based charitable causes.
