Hired Attorney 2015-2021David is the BEST Lawyer I have ever come in contact with. I have hired and worked with several different kinds of lawyers over my lifetime(Corporate, Criminal, Family etc.). David stands out above the rest. There are many "good" lawyers, there are many "competent" lawyers there are even "super" lawyers. Then there is David. Not only is he a brilliant legal mind he genuinely cares about his clients. He has checked in on me months to years after I have hired him just to make sure things were going well. When people think of the best lawyers of this generation the name Johnny Cochran comes to mind. David is obviously in a different field but he is that caliber of a lawyer. The type where when he presents you his strategy on a matter you say to yourself, that's perfect. The only reason I wouldn't recommend him to everyone I come in contact with is I want to make sure he still has time available for me when I need him. Joke aside you can not go wrong with David and if he doesn't specialize in your issue most likely one of his partners in his firm does. I can't give them quite the same recommendation he gets but I have had only good experiences when he has referred me to his colleagues for issues outside his specialty. Lastly he is extremely fair when it comes to cost. Some things you will want and need David to do himself but if you have a lesser issue that one of his partners or associates can do for you at a lower cost he will recommend that. It's really the perfect blend of Excellent Legal skills, Great Client Relations, Fair and equitable Billing practices. I don't know what more you could ask for.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
