I can’t say enough good things about Tommy Taneff and Taneff Law!! He went way above and beyond to help my parents and our family during an incredibly difficult time. My dad was in the hospital with a serious infection, and we honestly don’t know how things are going to turn out. Because of that, getting his estate planning taken care of became extremely urgent. Tommy basically dropped everything he was doing and helped us get everything done in just a matter of days. I had learned that this type of work could typically take over a month with other attorneys we researched. On top of that, his fee was significantly less than what the other attorneys we consulted with were charging. What really meant a lot to us was that he drove over an hour and a half to meet my parents at the hospital so they could go through everything and get the documents signed. He absolutely did not have to do that, but he understood how important and time-sensitive this was for our family and made it happen. He was extremely professional, but what stood out most was how kind, patient, and personable he was with my parents. My mom is an immigrant and sometimes has difficulty reading and understanding complicated legal documents. He even went so far as to memorize certain phrases to better connect with my mother in her language. Tommy took his time, explained everything in a way she could understand, and made sure she was comfortable with everything before signing. Having never had to deal with something like this, he truly made things easy and never made us feel like we were burdening him. That meant the world to us! Although my dad was the immediate concern, even took care of my mom’s estate planning at the same time. We hadn’t even thought about doing that in the middle of everything that was going on, but it ended up making things so much easier for our family. This was obviously a very emotional and stressful situation for all of us and having someone like Tommy step in and take so much of that burden off our shoulders was incredibly meaningful. He didn’t just handle the legal work, he genuinely cared about helping my parents and making sure they were taken care of. My parents and I are beyond grateful for everything Tommy did for us. His willingness to go the extra mile, his responsiveness, and the way he treated my parents with such kindness and respect will not be forgotten.
