Hired Attorney 2018I find it extremely difficult to recommend Bruce Steinfeld’s services. I came to him with what should have been a direct and straight forward divorce case that became a longer process than necessary. No one can dispute Mr. Steinfeld's legal knowledge, as he does a fine job in translating legalese and how it applies to your specific circumstances; however, overall, he was far more concerned about billing me than he was in helping me. Examples include his dismissal for early mediation, outdated and often duplicate processing, and a lack of counsel in my best interests. Finally to mediation, the mediator provided me more counsel than Mr. Steinfeld, who was present, but admitted he was also working on other clients during the mediation. After receiving my final invoice, I was billed for the time Bruce stated he was focused on other cases. Upon reaching out via multiple emails, then phone calls only resulting in voicemails, I was consistently ignored. I felt forced to give up trying to discuss this with him upon reaching out once again, only to find out he was out of office for a three week vacation. I was concerned for my well-being and was forced to abruptly select an attorney. If you are blessed with the time to research, my opinion is that you can find a more affordable option that will provide you more care and attention.
