Hired Attorney Kevin L. Geisler 2025-2026My experience with Kevin "The Snake-Oil salesman" Giesler was extremely disappointing. By the end of the representation, I felt far more like I was dealing with a salesman than an attorney I could trust to stand beside me. Communication was a constant problem. Important follow-ups did not happen, reasonable questions about my own case were treated as though I was interfering, and I was eventually told that it was clear I wanted to “run my case” myself simply because I wanted answers and wanted to understand what was happening with my own life. Kevin ultimately chose to withdraw from representing me, and the court approved his withdrawal. I walked away from this representation feeling unheard, frustrated, disappointed, and deeply let down by someone I had trusted to guide me through one of the most difficult experiences of my life. When someone’s freedom, future, and family are at stake, communication and trust are not optional. They are everything. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Kevin Giesler. Do yourself a favor and take the time to find representation that makes you feel heard, informed, respected, and confident that your attorney is truly working with you. I know what my experience was, and I stand behind every word of this review.

Hired Attorney Kevin L. Geisler 2019AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Unless you want to lose your hard earned money.... STAY A WAY FROM KEVIN the “Weisler” GEISLER. If you’re like me and you thought these reviews was because of people who had disdain for him.... RIGHTFULLY SO! Wish I would have listened to the reviews instead of taking his excuses for them! He has an excuse for everything! Arrogant, self conceited and a CROOK! If you want to lose your money.... by all means retain him. Then I’ll happily tell you .... Told you so!!!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
