Hired Law firm 2019I have used Steve Buividas on 2 separate occasions and the end result was always in my favor. Extremely hard working, knowledgeable and just an awsome human being. He has made sure i have been extremely satisfied on both occasions. His office staff has also been incredible as well. They made sure i was well informed during every step of the process. If you want the best lawyer to handle your affairs, I highly recommend the law firm of Steve Buividas.

Hired Law firm 2017-2019Steve is a great lawyer. Leading up to working with Steve, I pretty much hated lawyers in general. I dealt with a bunch of lawyers, didn't enjoy the experience, and never trusted any of them. Steve was able to read my personality and relate to me on a friendly level. At first, things were a little rocky. I thought of him like all the other lawyers, but there was something about him that made me think he was an artist in a way. Great art can't be rushed. Bottom line, the end result is what mattered, and Steve delivered for me on multiple cases. I will use him again in the future, and I would recommend you use him.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
