For the past 20 years, the founder of Casey Law PLLC has dedicated his legal career to construction law. He primarily focuses on construction defects in Seattle and across the great state of Washington. His work has ensured the safety of homeowners and workers. It has also ensured that property owners get the compensation they deserve, so they can repair, rebuild, or buy new homes or commercial spaces.

While construction defects comprise a significant portion of cases taken on by the law firm, he also provides personal injury representation, which includes, but is not limited to catastrophic claims. Additional aspects the law firm provides representation or legal advice for include:

• Breach of Contract and Warranty
• Consumer Protection Act violations
• Insurance Coverage
• Negligence
• Breach of Duty
• Fraud
• Real Estate
• Business Law

When taking on these cases, the law firm represents a wide range of interested parties. The cases also vary in economic value from tens of thousands to several million or more. Regardless of the size or value of a case, one thing remains constant: most people want to settle without long, drawn-out legal battles in court.

Consequently, Casey Law PLLC prioritizes amicable solutions while also serving as a strong advocate for its clients' preferred outcomes. The lead attorney's ability to walk this fine line between peaceful solutions and aggressive advocacy has contributed heavily to the law firm's success.

Mr. Casey represented me, along with 70 other homeowners, in a mass action case against a real estate developer/builder for defective construction and breach of the Consumer Protection Act. The case took almost 3 years, and we prevailed (won!). I have a background in real estate and have worked with many attorneys over the past 20 years, representing clients through transactions, acting as Power of Attorney, handling the closings/title work, amongst other things. I was particularly impressed with Mr. Casey's professional decorum. He communicated regularly and often, updating all of us on the ups and downs of the case, polling us to see where our will was in regard to settling (if a realistic opportunity arose, which it did with one of the contractors right before the trial), and made himself available throughout the case to answer questions, whether by email or a phone call. The amount he collected from each homeowner at the beginning of the case (the money we each paid to join the lawsuit) was so minimal-- way less than an attorney charges a client to prepare closing documents or review contracts!) and I kept expecting that we would each have to come up with more as the case dragged on into a full 3 years. But we were never asked for more, which is just unheard of in this day and age in the legal industry. (He collects fees from the final award, as a percentage, which is referred to as "contingency fees.") What also made an impression (a very good one) is the way he conducted himself in the hearings and trial. He was respectful to all parties, not belittling the witnesses he examined or cross examined, he made each of us that testified very much at ease, and he did not irritate or pander to the panel of arbitrators (Judges). These qualities were in stark contrast to the mannerisms of the counsel (attorneys) representing the other side (the builder) and I believe that his humble and down-to-earth approach made a significant difference during the trail. It lets the facts and evidence speak for themselves.
