Mr. Blevins worked hard to take care of my case, even though obtaining records wasn?t easy. He took care to keep me informed during the entire process. I?m pleased and would use him again, if a situation were to arise.

I received excellent service. Even though this was very painful I was made to feel comfortable and cared about. That was really important to me. The staff was very professional and made me feel welcome. I did not feel hurried and they made me feel like I could take as long as I needed. Every thing was taken care of as quickly as possible and they monitored the progress closely to keep things moving. For the friendly staff and service I received I definitely will recommend this law firm.

Great experience overall using David for legal advice and thankful we used him to handle a legal matter. David went above & beyond to handle the matter for us. He is a kind, considerate & understanding attorney. His attention to details and knowledge of laws were very valuable. Amazing and very organized office staff. I would highly recommend David for a reliable & trustworthy attorney.

This lawyer does not work in Trenton, GA. We called him to schedule a meeting on a property deed and he said he does not work in Trenton, Ga; he needs to remove it from website.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
