Envision Family Law After some research, I reached out to a number of attorney?s offices for a one hour consultation to find out more about attorney and paralegal assistance in a divorce case. One of those offices was Envision Family Law. When I spoke to the attorney there, he gave me a one hour rundown on many of the things that I needed to be aware of throughout the process, as well as different avenues of approach toward using an attorney versus a paralegal for the process. The attorney, Kevin, shared his wisdom from more than two decades of experience in family law, especially as it pertained to veterans and their families. Subsequently, my wife and I came to the conclusion that we would use their paralegal services. I've used Jonathon Moffitt twice now in ongoing efforts to relieve me of my finances. The first time I was so nervous I got there awfully early. I sat there for 45 minutes watching my ex and their attorney confur not 25 feet away from me. They appeared confident and relaxed. 2 minutes before court (not common for him, extenuating emergency) he comes in like a hurricane, walks past me and mouths, you ready? I nervously nodded. Without breaking stride he goes up and talks to the judge, turns, and has me walk up there. In the following 15 minutes of Jonathan tearing apart their arguement using case law and citing other cases he had their lawyer stuttering so bad you could hear people mimic him in the background. His win was so strong the judge threatened the other side that they should have to pay my attorney fees and I never asked for that. After the judges favorable (in my case) ruling Jonathan shook my hand and looked right at me, and I promise this is true, he said "I'm never early but I'm always prepared" and left. I couldn't be happier with him as my lawyer and I recommend him to everyone in need. The second time I used him wasn't as nerve-racking but it was 4 years later and he won so convincingly that in ruling for me the judge felt sorry for my ex. Obviously the judge doesn't know my ex. It feels like I met Jonathan as a younger incredible lawyer and in the 4 years between cases he's only gotten better and better. It feels like the deck is stacked for you with Jonathan as your lawyer.

Jonathan Moffitt was excellent representing me during my divorce. Jonathan did an excellent job preparing me for what was "typical" in Washington state and fought hard for me to get a fair and reasonable judgment. We tried everything to settle with the other party including mediation and when the other party just wouldn't be rational he didn't hesitate to be aggressive to get a fair deal. Rarely is anyone ever completely happy with the outcome of a divorce, but I feel the decision that the judge made after our divorce trial was fair, reasonable, and largely due to Jonathan's preparation, precision, and ability to stick to facts and not bring unnecessary emotion into the proceedings.

Attorney Kim April and her team did a great on my divorce case! She gave me great advise that assisted me in getting the best settlement possible!

I ended up with an INCREDIBLE Parenting Plan! I am confident I would not have ended up with these results had I not hired Jonathan Moffitt. Jonathan knows what he is doing. He is confident and prepared in court. I have watched other attorneys stumble around (over what they are trying to communicate), or just come off unprofessional in some other way. This was never the case with Jonathan. While nobody wants to go to trial, I felt very prepared and almost enjoyed the experience as I watched Jonathan question and examine my child?s father and debunk the claims my child?s father tried to make. I sought Jonathan?s assistance for my parenting plan and child support case as I was unhappy with another attorney. With just over two months until my trial date, Jonathan picked up my case and took action immediately. I filed for support, but the order was thrown out and my prior attorney never suggested pursuing support before trial. Jonathan filed for and obtained a temporary support order for my child. My child?s father has not been a part of my two-year old child?s life, he moved over 450 miles away shortly after our child was born, and has issues with drugs and alcohol. Needless to say, when my child?s father filed for a parenting plan, I was terrified. My child?s father even made comments that he wanted no contact with our child, yet he continued to take legal action for a parenting plan. The final parenting plan I ended up with is due in part to ?bad actions? taken by the father and lots of praying, but I am also very confident I would not have ended up with these results had I not hired Jonathan. My child?s father took a much lower paying job after our child was born, and although I did not receive support based on his prior wages, the final support order/payment was increased slightly for an imputed amount above what my child?s father?s recent pay stubs showed. Jonathan respected and understood that I felt the need to be more involved in my case than might be typical of a client because of the experience I had with a prior attorney. Jonathan was always willing to answer my questions about legal processes, expectations, outcomes, and alternatives. The only ?negative? about my experience does not relate to Jonathan at all, but I wish the firm had a way for me to pay my bills online. You may respond to the billing email, but when I did this after five or six days they still did not process my payment, so after that I ended up just calling each time to pay the bill?which is not terribly inconvenient, as the whole process only took a few minutes, but as a single parent working full time the option to click and pay bills 24/7 would be nice. I should also note that Jonathan?s billing statements were well documented. The previous firm I worked with would forget to charge things and then they would show up in a later bill, which was very annoying?this never happened with Jonathan or his staff.

I've never been a fan of lawyers. In fact, I've tried to avoid using a lawyer since my divorce in 2016. When I did hire one in the past, it was a horrible experience. I hired Jonathan Moffitt to represent me in a complicated divorce case after having a very poor experience with another attorney. My previous attorney didn't keep me informed and basically just filed paperwork and took my money. Considering the complexity of my case, I needed someone who was driven, communicated well and wasn't afraid to deal with ambiguity. I found Jonathan and Thank God I did! The divorce started in a foreign country in Africa where the laws are very different. I have 2 younger children, so custody issues had to be considered across both systems. Also, some of the financials and assets had already been split overseas while the rest needed to be considered in the US. And to top it off, the other party refused to be amicable about anything which added more stress to an already crazy situation. Jonathan dug right in and worked with my lawyer from overseas to understand the nuances of the cases there and how they translated to US laws. He provided good advice and support along the way and was open to hearing my ideas. He negotiated for my best interests at every turn and presented the facts and evidence in a strong and confident manner. I very highly recommend Jonathan if you're looking for someone to stand up and fight for you. His assitant, Dian was also amazing as she was quick to answer questions, process documentation and provide udpates when Jonathan was busy.

Calli Hisey was unprofessional, did not listen to me or my case completely dropped the ball in court, her hands shook in court she brought her dog to mediation it was just unprofessional and terrible experience.
