0.5 out of 5 stars

Fiore Bucci only answers your calls until you give him your retainer. After that don't expect a call back or an email. I've left 3 or 4 calls and emails and no answer. And when you do get him on a phone for his lack of responding he charges you for it. I had to get a new lawyer and start over after I paid him close to $1,600 and almost nothing was done. When you do press him to do something, he promises it and days go by and nothing is done. When he says he'll have something for you on a certain day, don't expect him to do what he commits to. I think he is the wrong profession.

After loosing a decision in family court, I reached out to Mr. Bucci. He was completely honest with his opinion and filed an appeal on my behalf. His knowledge and experience allowed him to present a strong case to the appellate and the decision made by the family court judge was reversed. I would not call anyone else if I needed an attorney. Lawyers in general, work so many cases at one time that attention may not be directed to your needs personally. Mr. Bucci made the time to answer my concerns and followed my case until the decision was made. I am grateful to have found an attorney who truly cares about what his client needs.

Professional. Efficient. Personable. Conclusive. The Fiore Law executed my dissolution expeditiously and fairly. Highly recommend their services, fairly priced with great results.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
