Greg was great! I have never had any legal trouble before I encountered my situation. Greg was very thorough with everything. He always reassured me of everything since it was my first encounter of needing an attorney. Greg and Lana both kept me updated on everything going on with my case. He?s very affordable and always easy to get ahold of. Greg looks at every side of the case and not just one side of it. He has a portal for his clients where they can upload their documents and message him and his staff if you just want a quick way to ask questions. The portal gives you reminders of your upcoming court dates as well. He was referred to me by another attorney and I?m SO glad that he was. Thanks for all you did Greg Spencer Law!!

Mr. Springer was very detailed through the process. He did a great job of communicating with me and all parties involved. I was very satisfied with his team and individual performance.

I had Mr. Spencer represent me in a civil dispute. A judgement was incorrectly entered against me because I was incorrectly served. We did not win at the State level, however, Mr. Spencer did not give up and filed an appeal which got the results we were fighting for. He did not accept the first negative outcome and kept exploring different options for my case until we received what was right. I appreciated the willingness to fight and represent my interests as if it were his own.

I called about a criminal case, trial is ASAP. The young lady answered the phone probably spent, 20 minutes with me, just talking over some key points making suggestions of my case. I advised her I had some money but not enough to pay in full. She said that arrangements can be made if needed. She advised me Mr Spencer would call me back. In An hour, He called me and texted me. Mr Spencer was Knowledgeable of the law, to the point and sincere. Again I appreciate the time they spent on me! If I do decide to get a lawyer, it will be them, hands down. Thank U

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
