Jeff Jacobson is the founding principal of the Jacobson Law Firm, an employment law firm with an emphasis on representation of law enforcement officers and federal employees. Jeff cut his legal teeth as a Deputy County Attorney and Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in Tucson before starting his own law firm in 2008. As outside counsel to members of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association for nearly a decade, Jeff represented law enforcement officers from over 65 federal agencies. For 16 years, Jeff has represented law enforcement officers across the State of Arizona as outside counsel to members of the Arizona Conference of Police and Sheriffs. In this capacity, Jeff has represented law enforcement in internal affairs investigations, officer involved shootings, pay issues, personnel board and civil service commission appeals and hearings, before the Arizona Peace Officers Standards and Training Board, and in Superior Court Special Actions. Jeff has also recently become a panel attorney for members of the Fraternal Order of Police in Arizona.
Jeff is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated attorney and has helmed more than 50 jury trials and more than 300 bench trials in his career.
