I was extremely stressed as someone was trying to take advantage of my elderly father who is going blind and deaf. I was 400 miles away and moved back while unsure how to deal with the matter. I literally called over 20 law firms in the area and more remote areas. As I work in customer service with FedEx I can imagine the kind of nightmare scenarios people who work in law have to deal with. In the end it was a simple consultation by this law firm that reassured me they were the right choice. Everyone I spoke to was extremely polite and attentive to my needs. Almost all of the other law firms I talked to where very short, unwilling to listen, and would even give me incorrect information. It honestly got so bad I legitimately considered selling my house. I am happy to announce things went in the best possible direction and should I have any problems of this nature in the future I will not hesitate to give this firm a call. I will also let my friends and family know about their service.

This law firm is everything you would expect. They did all the research on my situation and layout a solution for it. They became more like a family member giving me advice wanting the best outcome for me. They constantly stay in contact with me so I wouldn't be in the dark. I highly recommend this law firm to anyone who are in need of help.

I called them with a Landlord-Tenant issue that i was having with my landlord. They told me that the landlord was liable for the repairs and had to remove the mold from the house i renting. They got me compensation for past rent, compensation for a hotel while the repairs were done and helped me get out of my lease. Jeffrey and September really went the extra mile to help me.

This Firm was very professional and thorough. Their communications with me was key to my ability to relax and know that I was in good hands. They had my best interest at heart every step of the way.

False advertisement and I don't like that. They don't provide free consultation as claimed here on Findlaw or on their website. When asked about the free consultation, I was then told that the receptionist's determination of whether their attorney could handled my type of case and that was the free consultation. I simply told the receptionist that it's landlord tenant case which was advertised on their website. I even told them they should at least give a 15 minute consultation so as not to have false advertisement. Then if costumer decides the consultation meaningful then they could pay for a full consultation. Also, the receptionist cannot practice law or give consultation, free or not. She admitted she was not an attorney.

So the website says "free consultation", but when I called and spoke to Amanda, I was told that her making an appointment for a consultation was the consultation and if I actually wanted to speak with an attorney for "a review" of my case, that would cost $125. Sounds like bait and switch to me. I'll be posting this on Yelp and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Not the kind of people I wish to do business with.

My experience with September is negative. September talks confidently but practices "Bait and Switch" and double bills, for her and her appearance lawyer, who in my case appeared without my authorisation, unprepared and had no clue about the underlying law on which the hearing was based. She doesn't practice what she advertises. I found September on "Court Buddy" website where she advertises herself and NOT her "Consumer Litigation Center". The web site on which she advertises offers "unbundled legal services at flat rates based on your budget". I hired "her" to help me with a technical issue, which she did not disclose she had no prior experience with. In time when she should have rejected the case due to lack of experience with the underlying matter and instead of taking care of the matter herself, she sent an unprepared appearance lawyer to Court on a very important matter for me, without seeking my consent. When Jeff appeared, he (i) did not know anything about the case and (ii) have refused to talk about the case or even read what I gave him, and was (iii) rude and disinterested. This is not what i agree to retain her to do or the service I expected. When I objected Jeff said don't talk to me talk to September. Not knowing that Jeff admitted to not knowing anything about the case or underlying legal issue that he had no experience with, September lied to me that "they both worked on the preparation", which was inconsistent with what Jef admitted. Despite that I cancelled the agreement, September refused to provide refund and she claimed she burned through $5,000 retainer in couple of day. Capriciously, and in retaliation for a dispute, she without notice required by law filed a meritless motion to prejudice me. She did not effectuate proper service of it and refused to communicate about what she did, knowing what she did was wrong. Beware.

Based on the phone interview I had with this Law office, I would not recommend anyone put their trust in them. Several times I had to repeat myself because I was spoken over. Another thing that was really odd, was how I was placed on hold while literally in the middle of explaining my matter and then when they returned, never bothered to acknowledge it, even when I had questioned about it. Sad they would carry themselves that way and think people would actually intrust them.
