    Hired Law firm 2019-2022
I had a case with this company back in August 2019. Finally got settled in August 2022. I was lied to and passed on to other lawyers and case managers. Like my case was not important. I lost my job and car. I believe I lost my car due to the negligence of the lawfirm and taking so long to submit what was needed to the other insurance company. It took them almost the 3 years to put it together to ask the other insurance company for a settlement. The other driver admitted fault. So I thought it should have been a pretty fast and easy case. The other drivers insurance company policy limit was 50,000 so that was the max that could be paid. So how keller and keller says we'll get you the money you deserve. Is a lie my case was worth alot more. They got there nice 33% of that plus taxes. For maybe I would say 40 hours of work. I asked if they would refund me a percentage. Kind of how the hospitals do but got no response. They're only in for it for themselves. They only mean business in getting their money. Not what you deserve. Please rethink your decision of hiring them.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
