5.0 out of 5 stars

I would recommend Kelm and Reuter as a whole to anyone I know. I specifically appreciate all the support and knowledge I received from Casey Kolb as I walked into his office panicked and not knowing how to go about handling my situation. Casey took his time to explain and walk me through what we needed to do and how we were going to do it. Everything I didn't understand or had a question about Casey would go through every detail with me staying in contact with every new update. Casey was kind and professional, he knows his law and he knows how to get the job done. I appreciate his wisdom, professionalism, and people skills. Kelm and Reuter as a whole along with Casey Kolbs team did and incredible job and I can't thank them enough.

Unable to perform simple tasks. They ignore other attorneys that reach out to them. Casey to be more specific.

I've known Tim for nearly 20 years. He helped me through my divorce and I was awarded custody of my 3 children. He has helped me with several other matters since them and has always given me sound legal advice. Please don't hesitate to contact him with your legal needs.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
