I?d like to share my experience with this firm. My case was a tough one with restraining orders and, myself, with a criminal case going at the same time, which made my case more difficult. I personally worked with Howard Iken. He was patient with me(I was such a mess emotionally with my situation) Howard was able to fight for me to get visitations even though the other party made it difficult. My final outcome was a good one, we ended up dropping restraining orders and implemented visitation with step-up plan ( that was the best outcome since my criminal case remained open) moreover he negotiated attorney fees to something I was able to pay and afford. I worked with Howard on a few web related projects. What I learned about Howard is that he shows a lot of class and cares about each and every client. Lawyers can be intimidating, but not Howard. He's easy to talk to, knows what he is talking about and all around great to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney to review a Family Law case of any kind in Florida.

Do not hire this law firm if you want to win your case. The lawyer forgot to add my car payment to the financial affidavit and didn't remember to request the time sharing I requested. I ended up losing custody because of the lawyers lack of response to the allegations and my child support is so high I'm so behind I'll never be able to catch up. One of the most embarrassing moments was when the other party attorney said and now let's review the injunction of the stepmother which was part of the contract and the other party attorney goes nevermind Jason forgot to file it. This was the worst mistake of my life. He dropped me when I mentioned I should file a complaint with the Florida board association!

Stay clear.. I would NOT recommend them to my worst enemy. Laura Naylor.... took my money knowing that I wasnt a FL resident for 6 months, which is against the law. and she knew it! She told me it would be fine, yet it wasn't! She also drew up papers that said nothing I asked of her to write. She charged me $7500 and asked for an additional $2500 to continue, yet all that had been done was the case was filed with the court and my husband was served papers., Then she proceeded to ask me for an additional $2500.. which is where I had to draw the line and fire her.. When I first called her, she assured me it would be between $5000 & $8000 for the entire uncontested divorce, yet it was already at $7500, and we had just begun, she stated two more astronomical charges would be mediation and the final court costs. if I had proceeded it probably would have ran up to near $50,000!!! In which I did all the leg work, finding every document, title, bank statements, back taxes, avg monthy bills, sold properties from prior years, vehicle titles and so much more she required I scan and email to them. And they charged me for every single one of them I sent them. I only spoke with Laura Naylor on the phone twice. She offered no apologies and no refunds once I fired her for lying and stealing from me. She also refused any correspondence after that. She charged for every correspondence,.. example: an email that said thank you or received. When questioned about an error on their part, I was charged again for them to fix it. There were 2 secretaries sending me the same info and asking for the same things and both were charging me.. It was absurd. I told her I'm asking for a fair, kind, 50/50 settlement, she said she's never heard of anyone ever asking for that. She wanted me to go for 90%of his assets. After I told her I didn't ask her to write all the lies and figures in the papers she served to my husband, she said Itll be worked out later, of course, at additional astronomical charges to me for her to rewrite. I also filed with the Florida bar against her for doing this, and she declined. So that's it.. how is that fair... I'm out $7500. And a boatload of grief, and now months later I'm still not divorced and the case in is limbo until I hire another lawyer to clean up her mess! I asked them for a copy of my case and there response was.. you still owe us an additional $1800 on top of the $7500 they already robbed me of !! Seriously? For what??? The bottom line is, no matter how they respond to this review,... she illegally filed, lied about the costs, did everything I asked her not to do, charged $400 an hour, had she done the right thing to begin with, none of this would have transpired. She was unfair, unkind and what she's done is illegal. Anyone resting this have an idea how I could recoup some of my money or any recourse I could take. The Florida Bar was no help BEWARE!!

I'm a very low income and he promised me at the beginning to settle my case for not more than $5250 , I paid 4450 and didnt cover anything and they requested $2000 to cover the mediation, I told them that I dont have that much and I dont want the mediation but they refused to stay in the case and they recommended to seek the legal aid??? . Charged me 185 to withdrawl from the case ,shame on them taking advantage of their clients. Doesn't care about the client personally just after the money. Hands down not a good attorney to go to His paralegal Angela is awful. Too many times did I have to call multiple times over several weeks to get her to do anything she was supposed to. It took several months to get her to scaduale the mediation mediation. If you want an attorney who will sit back in , not fight for you, never contact you or do what he says ,worryingabout money , and a horrible paralegal, then Jason is your guy. Otherwise, save your money and go elsewhere.
