I saw my wife go through this before without a lawyer, she went to court, spent her morning sitting there waiting only to be told to come back a month later and repeat the process all over again. She went back, they made her a bad offer and she accepted it out of frustration and wanting not to come back a third time. And our insurance bills skyrocketed!
