Throughout the process, attorney and paralegal were professional, considerate, and effective advocates. Our concerns were truly heard, and then translated into action. Thankful always to Massa Butler Giglione for helping us through a tough experience in such a graceful way.

I first met Attorney Massa in 2013. I was very nervous about filing a malpractice lawsuit for many reasons. Attorney Rudy Massa, Attorney Gary Butler, Attorney Peter Giglione and Attorney Megan Dirlam and his entire staff (Kristina, Sherry, Rachel and Steve) have been wonderful and walked me through the entire process from beginning to end. I never had to worry about any of the legal process because they were by my side the entire time. I highly recommend this law firm for you or a loved one because not only are they committed to your case. Most importantly, they are committed to your well-being as well as your family. They have all become like a family to me supporting me through the most difficult time in my life. I was so blessed to have had them in my corner. If you are not sure, give them a call. It is a free consultation. I am 100% certain that after speaking with them, you will feel at ease as I did. I wouldn't choose anyone else!

Atty Gary Butler and his paralegal, Stephan handled the wrongful death case of my mother. I was kept fully and clearly informed through the entire process. All my questions were answered in a timely manner. I knew this would be a long process, but I felt like my case was in very good hands. The communication between my attorney, his staff and myself was wonderful. I felt like we were all on the same page & I trusted them completely. This law firm makes you feel like they are working JUST for you. The staff?s availability was great. Whether it was by phone, email or in person I could always reach them. I would recommend the Massa Butler Giglione Law Firm without hesitation.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
