Our Story

James L. Miller decided to attend law school to become a bankruptcy attorney after helping his father file for bankruptcy for the family business in the late 1980s. He understands what families facing bankruptcy are going through and approaches their cases with compassion.

Mr. Miller is one of the founding members of our law firm and has more than 20 years of experience in bankruptcy law. Under his leadership, we have expanded our practice areas to include personal injury, workers' compensation, estate planning and Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income in addition to our debt relief services.
