I would highly recommend Olds George Lawfirm. I hired Mr. Olds in 2016 after I filed an EEOC complaint against my employer. At the time, I told my story and Mr. Olds didn?t hesitate and said he would take the case. That showed me a strong and dedicated attorney. Jaimie George also worked on my case and she as well is very good as an attorney. She gained added knowledge from Mr. Olds who has been an attorney for over 40 years. They both exhibit strong writing skills and knowledge of case law which is very important when a person is going to file a lawsuit. This leads me to discuss that my case resulted in a Federal Lawsuit that was an uphill battle. My case involved a President Judge who was my boss at the time and he thought he was immune from all actions during his term as a CommonPleas Judge even if it was for personal gain. The Federal Judge had ruled in my favor the whole way. Then he appealed the case to the 3rd Circuit Court. Those 3 Judges ruled that he wasn?t immune and essentially ruled in my favor as well. This case created new case law for future litigants. The case ended up settling in my favor. The entire time I was going through my case Mr. Olds was always very patient and empathetic towards me. If you want a good employment attorney hire OldsGeorge Lawfirm.

5.0 out of 5 stars

Edward Olds is a very experienced and extremely knowledgeable attorney. He has a gentlemanly, low-key personality and he is easy to work with. That is a definite plus in high-stress litigation. His colleague, Jaimie George brings a complementary perspective to the firm. She is straightforward, courteous and highly competent. My case was both difficult and complex and the stakes could not have been higher. Nevertheless, Attorney Olds was able to skillfully bring it to a completely successful conclusion. I recommend him in the highest terms possible.

I was fortunate enough to have had the pleasure of being represented by Ed Olds for litigation that lasted nearly two years with my School District. It was a hard-fought win only because Ed was very thorough, strategic, and calculated. Throughout the entire process, he was always available via phone at anytime and kept me up to date on current and future proceedings via email and text messaging. He always anticipated our next step while keeping a laser-like focus on what was at hand. He was very easy to work with and has a calming disposition that I relied on countless times. In addition, he was very organized and kept the whole picture in mind while he meticulously worked on each piece. This gentleman is a dedicated professional and a genius in his field; his supportive way, intellectual and stamina capacities, and work ethic ensure that he is the best. Having never been involved in any court-proceedings in my life, Ed made everything easy and reassured me every step of the way. I can say with certainty that if Ed is in your corner, he will go above and beyond to support you; his expertise, professionalism, and calm demeanor is the winning combination.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
