Hired Law firm 2018-2022Perrotta, Fraser & Forrester, LLC Personal injury attorney PLACE DETAILS Photo of Vera Langley Vera Langley just now Michael J. Forrester initially was a "random" attorney I only picked because his office was close to my house; however, it must have been dumb luck to find such an amazing attorney who not only is competent, caring, concise and credible but highly capable! I had a case that started out in 2018 and most attorneys would put you in the "collect the dust" file. Not this guy! My case had steam from 2018 to my settlement date which was officially May 9, 2022. Mr. Forrester kept me informed from the initial stages of my case, during and even after it was over STILL took my calls to further explain and/or clarify all my questions. I am probably the biggest doubter, pain in the "you know what" and very detailed client; yet, he was kind, patient and professional all in one and ALWAYS greeted me with a smile and NEVER rushed me on the phone or in person. Also, the STAFF is just as kind, patient and professional! This was a WIN WIN!! Don't take my word....CALL HIM!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
