Veronica is who you want fighting by your side. She is tough, smart and upfront about the facts and reality of your case. She will not lead you astray. At the same time she was supportive and passionate about my case and helped me through a very emotional case. I will always be grateful for her. If you want to succeed in your case, you will want Veronica on your side, not on the other!

Veronica is the best! She made sure I was informed throughout the process, prepared me for all possibilities and did an awesome job with the opposing counsel. She was there for me through hard times during the case and I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for me. J.R.

I highly recommend Veronica Procter. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional in all employment matters. Veronica represented me in a wrongful termination case and I couldn?t have asked for better representation. The defense had 4 high powered attorneys that didn?t stand a chance against Ms Procter. If you are looking for an attorney who cares about her clients look no further.

Ms. Procter is concise, knowledgable and I was very glad she was representing me in a court room. Her extensive background research she does on her cases was very apparent in the courtroom. Veronica's quick wit and ability to think on her toes is the reason I would recommend her to anyone I cared about. L.T.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
